Billed as a “deliberative polity-making event”, thousands of Europeans are forecast to participate in “EuroPolis“. First it was Philadelphia, now Chicago is beginning its own participatory budgeting effort. Through the consultation of Josh Lerner from the New School in New York, an alderman in the city has found some budget monies to support a significant project.
