A Park Grows in Hollywood, CA

Fregonese Associates, a land-use planning firm, has been working with the local community in Hollywood to design Hollywood Freeway Central Park.  The park will reconnect several communities that were divided when the 101 Freeway was constructed.  Representatives from Fregonese Associates held four community meetings, attended by more than 500 Hollywood residents.  Community members were able to provide input on the design and function of the park.  There is still opportunity for community members to comment, with construction not slated to begin until March 2010.
